She spent more than seven years in the public sector globalising Singapore companies before moving on to pursue new interests in data analytics and freelance market advisory work. Adeline is excited by opportunities to help companies grow via new technologies, human connections, market opportunities and data driven strategies.

Alvan Aiau
Vice President, Global Sales & Global Program Management, Asia Pacific
Carlson Wagonlit Travel



Alvan first joined CWT in 2012 as Senior Director, Sales and Program Management Southeast Asia and Hong Kong. In 2014, he served as interim General Manager and Senior Director, Traveler Services for CWT's newly-established operations centre in the Philippines, before being promoted to Vice President Global Sale and Program Management in the same year. Based in Singapore, Alvan has responsibility for managing CWT's extensive client base in the Asia Pacific region and for delivering solutions that add value to the travel programmes of global corporations. Prior to joining CWT, he was Head of Ocean Freight in DHL Global Forwarding, first in Shanghai, then Singapore, managing delivery of complex off-shoring projects, operational improvement initiatives, as well as management of supplier and vendor relations.

Ankush Bindra

Ericsson India



Ankush is a seasoned corporate procurement manager with over 16 years of experience in the travel trade. He has been associated with renowned travel companies such as ebookers, HCL Technologies and at present he heads the travel vertical for Ericsson India. In his current role, he is responsible for managing both Travel and Visa portfolio and travel technology. He manages the TMC from a strategic point of view. Ankush has deep experience in travel operations, visa and immigration advisory, technology, project management and process improvement experience, managerial accounting , contract negotiations and procurement operations. He is a transformational leader and actively engaged in industry education and advisory forums, recognised as an expert in India’s Travel & Technology industry.

  Benson Tang

Regional Director for Asia 
Association of Corporate Travel Executive (ACTE)


Benson has been the Regional Director, Asia for ACTE for the past two years. Before joining the team, he spent 11 years with Goldman Sachs Asi LLC as the person responsible for the region's corporate travel programme. He also has experience in numerous other travel industry sectors, having worked for Cathay Pacific Airways, The Hong Kong Tourist Association Canada Office (now called Hong Kong Tourist Bord) and Farrington Travel. Benson is curretly pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management with first class honours. His Master's Degree is from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

Bertrand is the General Manager for FCM Travel Solutions Singapore, responsible for the Southeast Asian region. As a veteran in the travel and technology industry, Bertrand brings with him a wealth of extensive knowledge and experience. In his role, Bertrand is tasked to take FCm to the 3.0 travel management sphere – making sure the company delivers amazing travel experience and meeting the needs of all travellers across all generations. Prior to joining the FCM family, Bertrand held various management positions with Amadeus and in the aeronautical and telecom industry.

Birgit Hoelzel

As Regional Director, Birgit has been responsible for managing the AirPlus Asia Pacific Business since 2014. Her current focus areas include furthering growth and introducing new products in China, where AirPlus is a market leader, and the implementation of  market entry strategy for India. With her background in VCC, she has ambitious plans to bring this innovation to the region after Australia went live last year. Between 2008 and 2014, Birgit headed the Product Management and Product Development division at AirPlus in charge of the central payments products deployed in 70 countries.

Carlo leads the FCm Travel Solutions business development team in Southeast Asia. Born in Belgium, he is a British citizen with an Italian background and has lived in numerous countries across Europe and Asia. In his previous company, Rosetta Stone, he was responsible for the corporate sales division across EMEA. He then moved to Japan to manage the sales and marketing teams, before leading the company’s expansion across the rest of the APAC region.

Chris leads the sales and marketing activities within APAC for Carey International, the world's premier chauffeured services company, as Director. He was named Sales & Marketing Director in July 2010. Prior to joining Carey, he had over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in a variety of business sectors in aerospace, education and business services. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and of the Chartered Institute of Marketing as well as a Chartere Marketer. Chris also holds a MSc from Notthingham Trent University and an MBA from Manchester Business School (UK).

Eugene is currently General Manager of Corporate Travel Management in Singapore. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the travel and GDS industry, having previously served in various division across the Sabre Asia Pacific organisation from training, online solutions, product marketing to sales. Prior to joining CTM Singapore, he was also with BCD Travel Asia Pacific, supporting the regional operations across 18 markets in the region. Eugene is a graduate of  Monash University, Melbourne with a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Banking and Finance.

Ewa Cyman
Regional Sales Manager (Hotels), APAC


Ewa is a travel professional specialising in MICE and wholesale B2B business. She has extensive experience in Europe, Asia and Australia. Ewa started her career in the front desk department of a hotel and gained valuable experience in the accommodation space. She was then based in the UK for a few years, looking after sales strategy for Hotelbeds. She moved on to an online travel media company, taking charge of the Southeast Asia and Pacific region. In the past 1.5 years, she has contributed greatly to HRS, as part of the strategic leadership in APAC office for hotel partnerships. She leads a team in acquiring more partners for HRS' corporate clients.

Frederic Saunier

Appointed in September 2015, Frederic spearheads the Asia Pacific strategy for the corporate segment, further increasing Amadeus’ regional focus on direct sales and channel partners with a portfolio of online solutions and bundled GDS offerings. The Asia Pacific Team Corporate IT is part of Amadeus' worldwide organisation for the corporations segment. Frederic leads a customer-centric regional team based in Singapore and soon to be expanded further across Asia Pacific. Prior to his move to the region, Frederic has been part of the Amadeus family for three years as the Sales Director with Amadeus France. Prior to that, he worked for Air France-KLM where he held various positions in France and the UK, most recently as Head of Global Strategic Corporate Accounts.

Hamish is in charge of corporate business travel and meetings sourcing and management for Apple in the region. Before he took on this role, he spent over four years with GE China as Indirect Sourcing Leader of Travel and Living/ MICE/ EHS in Greater China and Mongolia. His responsibilities included corporate travel management including airline, hotel, car rental and MICE as well as marketing and communications, environment, health and security solutions in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Mongolia. Hamish has 10 years of experience in the airline and civil aviation industries as well as sales and marketing background. He holds an MBA (Aviation Management) from RMIT University, Australia.

Based in Singapore, Kelly is responsible for Concur's overall success in the Southeast Asia market. She leads the sales organisation in driving expansion, growth and new market penetration. A veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Kelly has previously held regional, country leadership and vertical industry sales positions at CA Technologies, Oracle and Sun Microsystems.

Kevin joined Airbnb in 2013 as Market Lead for Malaysia. In the last three years, he was responsible for business development, partnership and brand marketing in the growing Southeast Asian markets. He currently leads Business Travel in the Asia Pacific region. Before Airbnb, Kevin co-founded a start-up in the social dining space and graduated with an Economics degree from University College London.

Prior to her appointment at Cook Medical, Lisa held positions in hotel sales and operations and destination management, managing high-end inbound incentive programmes for blue-chip companies.

Paul has over 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry with a strong background in sales. Prior to joining Oakwood Worldwide, he was the Vice President, Revenue Management and Sales of Galaxy Entertainment Group in Macau. He has also previously served as Regional Vice President Sales of Meritus Hotels & Resorts, Vice President, MICE & Group Sales at Resorts World Sentosa and Executive Director of Sales at Marina Bay Sands.

Sanghamitra leads the Regional Partnership Management team for global key customers in the region. In this role, she is responsible for governing and growing key strategic client partnerships. She joined American Express in 2003 in Global Commercial Cards, India as Account Development Manager before moving into a business development role with Commercial Cards in 2005. The next year, she moved to Singapore to take on a Client General Manager role within Global Business Travel and by 2010 had become Director for Client Management - ASEAN. She assumed her current role in 2014. Prior to joining American Express, she spent nine years with leading hospitality companies in leadership roles.

Stella had 15 years of banking experience when she joined the fintech world. She worked for MasterCard, where she ran Business Development for China, specialising in B2B payment flows, Travel and Expense Management and Virtual Cards. While in the banking industry, Stella led a regional treasury operations team for Morgan Stanley, headed up a North Asia Region Financial  Markets Operations team for Standard Chartered Bank, and provided Transaction Banking solutions to corporate clients of RBS in the Asia region. Stella set up Sarbin Zeiner Consulting to provide consulting services for other fintech companies. Her current role mainly involves working with major banks and their central banks to accept digital wallets.

Suraj Nair

Suraj co-founded TravelSpends in 2014 as a travel analytics consulting and audit company that provides travel cost optimisation solutions to corporations. Since then, TravelSpends has analysed over 200,000 trips and identified over $3 million in savings. Prior to this, Suraj was co-head of the Corporate Travel business at Thomas Cook where his responsibilities included airline and GDS contracting. He has also worked for American Express, helping key multinational customers leverage their T&E. There, he also helped launch the first meeting card in India.
